To anyone traveling who has a trip planned to Istanbul - from someone who has been to the city over 50 times, please stay at The Pera Palace Hotel.
No - they are not paying me to say this, nor do they give me a “special rate”. I truly want the person reading this post to have the best experience in Istanbul. A good or bad hotel can make or break any trip. Having stayed at different hotels in different locations (Ciragan Palace on the Bosphorus to Le Meridian in Etiler) I have had the very best experience here. It has the best location, location, location, service, beds, luxury, high tea, rooms, value-for-money, concierge, etc.
